With an interdisciplinary background in urban planning and the social sciences, Eleonore’s research focuses on the analysis of public policies promoting sustainable and innovative mobility practices (walking school buses, carpooling and teleworking) and spatial and social inequalities.
Interests: critical discourse analysis, quantitative and qualitative methods, health and environmental promotion.

2021-23 : LABILITY Project “Impacts of teleworking on mobility and daily activities”
The Smart Lab LABILITY led by University Gustave Eiffel is a multidisciplinary team of nine young researchers associated to eight different laboratories on economy, management, sociology, land development, applied mathematics and operational research, financed by the Region Île de France (1 M€), engaged in an innovative program to meet the challenges of territory resilience emerging from the health crisis, through the production of knowledge and innovations aimed to be transferred to public authorities and companies.
Two research axes are investigated:
(1) The risks and opportunities associated with the development of teleworking.
(2) The modalities of a resilient management of transport networks.
Role: creation and distribution of a questionnaire (n=1 500), data processing, disseminating research, recommendations, and expertise for regional public and private players, developing and managing collaborative stakeholder relationships
2019-21 : Projet Isite MUTANDIS Innovative Solutions for sustainable mobilities in periurban areas

Role: compiling and analysing a corpus of declaration of intent, tweets and press articles, processing data from a survey (n=2 000), disseminating research, supervising one trainee and teaching

J’ai étudié différentes idéologies à l’œuvre dans les politiques publiques qui visent à gouverner et discipliner les comportements urbains. Pour ce faire, j’ai effectué une thèse sur la mise en œuvre d’une “safe city” afin de saisir comment la sécurisation des déplacements des enfants a été construite en problème public. Elle examine la mise à l’agenda des solutions préconisées pour faire face à cet enjeu à travers l’exemple du Pédibus.
