I've got the sneaking suspicion I'm falling prey to racial stereotypes. I can't ever recall my dad even acknowledging hockey before tonight, but just a minute ago, he and his good friend (also a black man) were schooling me on hockey history. I'm buzzed on soju and beer and ecstatic that the Phoenix Suns made it to the Western Conference Semifinals tonight. Bad news? Facing the San Antonio Spurs, who've owned them in the playoffs for the last few years. We'll see how it goes. All I know is I'm gonna need more soju starting Monday, when that series begins.

I picked up my truck from the shop yesterday. So much for the finish date being April 9th! She looks amazing again! That whole side of the bed was replaced, which means the dent from way back when is gone! Relief! I haven't felt right in nearly two years because of that bs! Bumper was also replaced and they buffed out the tailgate, so that's fresh and clean, too!  They also replaced the tire, wheel, leaf spring and shackle, and fixed an abrasion where the bed hit the cab. It's almost like having a new truck. Presumably all is well with the axle and such underneath; waiting on the decals to dry out. We'll see as the days progress. 

When taking pics, I found blood on the rim they replaced! I'm trying to take this as a good sign of the effort that was put in.  o.o
