Title: The Spin Chapter: 5/? Author: Kalyn /naughtylaundry Rating: PG-15, a little mature action (not to much) and cursing Disclaimer: You know it's not true, but it never hurts to pretend... Summary: Patrick's just too hot to handle. Author's notes: It been raining for the past three days while the sun is out... I'm begining to believe I live in the twilight zone... Dedication: For everyone who squeed at the thought of model Patrick
Hey everyone! *Waves* Anyone from the FOBR boards might recognize me as CrispyCentaur. I'm a long time watcher first time contributor. I hope I'm not too late, but this is meant for the Platonic Sleeping Challenge. The idea was going around in my noggin for the past week or so, plus my friend was daring me to write something romantic, since she said I "make a joke out of everything I write." So yeah, revenge is sweet.
In all honesty, writing isn't really my strong suit. However, once I finally sew my Fall Out Boy dolls, I can assure you I'll fire up my camera and make some shippy comics. For now...
Title: Internal Symphony Pairing: Patrick Stump/Pete Wentz. You MIGHT say Joe/Andy if you really read between the lines, but I guess they're just being teases for now. Summary: Patrick chuckled at their antics, then turned to Pete. "Guess you and I are sharin' a bed." Disclaimer: Aside from the stuffed doll patterns I have sketched, I own nothing. Rating: G. Any fluffier and I'd be coughing up hairballs. Notes: ETA - Thanks to said friend that challenged me to write this...She also helped me think of a good title, since I'm no good at them. o_O
Firstly, you have just a little over one day to sign up for the PatrickxPeter Ficathon. We have a lot of entries so far, which is amazing and unexpected, but we could certainly use more. If you're up for the challenge of writing for someone else, go sign up while you still can.
I'll be pairing people up Thursday at work (yes, I'm a model employee) as well as Friday. The assignments will definitely be all sent out by Sunday (as I might be out at my cousins' on Saturday, and therefore, will not have access to a computer).
So yeah, go sign up and keep your eye on your inbox this weekend.
In other news, I decided to take a turn at writing drabbles for our faithful members. gamblore, your other mod, had so much fun with it I couldn't help but want to try it out myself.
The difference, though, is I'm going to try and keep to the usual drabble word limit. This is a challenge, and I need some practice for my drabbles100 claim of Patrick/Pete anyway :)
The rules? Comment here with a prompt. It can be one word, a phrase, a quote, anything. I have to respond with a 100 word drabble. If you give me more than one word or phrase to use, that gives me an extra 100 words (or if you want separate drabbles for each word/phrase, an extra drabble to write XD). And if it's a quote, it won't be incorporated into it, but it will be based on the quote. Just because I rarely write dialogue in drabbles since it takes up too many words ^_^
So yes. Give me prompts. I demand thee. :P -Teh Chrissy
I really enjoy reading slash, I've been lurking this community for a while. As I read more and more stories by you AWESOME writers, it makes me want to write my own. I was wondering if anyone had any tips? I'm not sure if this kind of post is allowed, if it isnt i'll delete it. If it helps, I am a fobrock boardie.
