The unstable swarm sound is down to modulating the two VCOs pulse widths, modulating the comb filters frequencies, and finally modulating the delay times.

The stereo output of that lot finally goes through a standard VCF/VCA/ADSR and velocity sensitivity.

The onboard chorus, delay, and reverb are used to keep things simple.
