Maze

Maze is a synthesizer that combines two generative sequencers and two oscillators.
It is inspired by the Moog Labyrinth.
The synthesizer features a SEQ section and a Voice section.

—– SEQ Section —–
There are two Turing machines.

Bit Length:
Sets the length of the pattern.

Speed Knob:
Adjusts the speed of the sequence.

Tips: Bit Length and Speed knob can also be used to shift the position of phrases within it.

Corrupt Knob:
Turning it clockwise mutates the sequence, while turning it counterclockwise locks it.

CV Shift Knob:
Raises or lowers the values of the entire sequence.

CV Range Knob:
Turning it clockwise expands the pitch range, while counterclockwise results in a single tone.

Trig Offset Knob:
Adjusts the number of triggers in the sequence. Clockwise emits all triggers, while counterclockwise reduces the triggers to zero.

Pitch Quantize:
Each sequencer (SEQ1 and SEQ2) has its own quantizer, which can be toggled ON and OFF with a button.

EG Trig Mix:
Adjusts the balance of triggers generated by SEQ1 and SEQ2, which also affects velocity.
Counterclockwise gives 100% velocity to the triggers from SEQ1, while clockwise gives 100% to the triggers from SEQ2.
In the center, both have 50% velocity, but when triggers from SEQ1 and SEQ2 overlap, the velocity is 100%.

—– Voice Section —–
In line with the original design, both sine and triangle waves are available, but the waveforms are changeable.

The note signal from SEQ1 is sent to the VCO, while the note signal from SEQ2 is sent to the Mod VCO, both of which are adjustable.

There are two envelopes: EG1 for modulation and EG2 for the amplifier.

EG1 sends signals to VCO Pitch, Mod VCO Pitch, FM Amount, Wavefolder Amount, and Filter Cutoff via their respective knobs.

The mixer section adds a slight saturation.

The routing for the Wave Folder and Filter can be changed, and their types are also modifiable.

The Blend knob adjusts the balance of the outputs from the Wave Folder and Filter.

Note: The pitch signal from the keyboard is sent directly to each oscillator, allowing you to transpose using the keyboard.

The SEQ section and Voice section each have their own independent patches.
