It’s synthesiser with an unusual 1990s type sound. It’s good for percussive sequencer lines fitting high energy dance, or sounds like A-ha. It is reminiscent of the Casio PD synthesisers that did phase distortion, or some of the harder FM capabilities of the PPG.
