Animasi wajah biasa digunakan pada game, perangkat lunak interaktif, dan film. Problematika muncul saat proses penggandaan animasi dari satu model ke model yang lainnya dikarenakan kompleksitas proses pembentukan animasi ekspresi wajah. Pendekatan featurepoint cluster memungkinkan terjadinya proses penggandaan animasi ekspresi wajah yang berdasarkan cluster area gerak wajah. Metode yang digunakan dengan membagi wajah dalam beberapa area cluster gerak dan melakukan transfer animasi dari data facial motion capture menggunakan metode retargeting. Proses penggandaan animasi ini memberikan hasil berupa pergerakan animasi yang sesuai tanpa perlu adanya bantuan percakapan atau dialog.
