I came from the Bay Area to Chico to study at Chico State where I got a BA in Liberal Studies. I was a preschool teacher at Innovative Preschool in Chico for 5 years. I am currently working at Parent Infant Programs helping families with Early Intervention. I have been working with families for 13 years and I love seeing families and their children grow. I have a daughter who is currently going to CCCS. I would like to continue to help our school grow through serving as a member of the CCCS school board.

I was born and raised in Paradise and attended the public schools in town. I currently work for REACH Air Medical as a Flight Paramedic on a helicopter, and I am also a volunteer firefighter with Butte County Fire Company 33. After the Camp Fire I moved to chico. My daughter began attending TK at CCCS while located in chico and we gladly continued at CCCS when the Paradise Campus reopened. This year we moved back to the ridge after purchasing a House in Magalia. I’m very excited to serve the school and the community as a member of the CCCS School Board.

I am a Butte County native and have lived and worked in Paradise most of my life. I raised my children here and believe the Paradise schools are some of the best in California. I have a technical background and was the volunteer teacher at the Paradise Girls Who Code Club from 2015 until November 2018. I have worked in public service for more than 26 years. I am the current Assistant District Manager for the Paradise Irrigation District, where I am dedicated to providing clean and dependable water to the Paradise Community. I was appointed as a community representative here at the Paradise Children’s Community Charter School Board in 2024 and look forward to serving my term with kindness, dedication, and integrity.

I’ve lived in the town of Paradise for almost 50 years. I raised 3 children who attended Paradise Schools, were involved in the arts, and school sports. My entire career has been in the field of education: school secretary, day care provider, teacher, and I have a Masters Degree in Education
