Η βία στο σχολικό χώρο δεν είναι ένα νέο κοινωνικό φαινόμενο. Μόλις πριν από λίγες δεκαετίες, η ά... more Η βία στο σχολικό χώρο δεν είναι ένα νέο κοινωνικό φαινόμενο. Μόλις πριν από λίγες δεκαετίες, η άσκηση σωματικής βίας από το δάσκαλο προς τον μαθητή αποτελούσε μία συμπεριφορά κοινωνικά αποδεκτή, απόλυτα συνυφασμένη με την έννοια και την πρακτική της πειθαρχίας στο σχολικό περιβάλλον.
Σήμερα, η άσκηση βίας σε βάρος των ανηλίκων ως μέσο και πρακτική διαπαιδαγώγησης εμπεριέχει έναν έντονα αρνητικό και απαξιωτικό χαρακτήρα και χαρακτηρίζεται ως κακοποίηση που συμβαίνει στην οικογένεια, το σχολείο, την κοινωνία.
Το έργο «Η Σχολική Διαμεσολάβηση» έχει ως στόχο, αφενός την εξέταση του φαινομένου της σχολικής βίας και του σχολικού εκφοβισμού (bullying) και αφετέρου την παρουσίαση του θεσμού της σχολικής διαμεσολάβησης, δηλαδή την ειρηνική επίλυση των συγκρούσεων μεταξύ των μαθητών.

"Data on prevalence of TBI among intimate partner/domestic violence survivors are emerging but are still in preliminary stage. BR.A.I.N project is ongoing and contribute to this effort by collecting data from the helpline 1440 of SPAVO in Cyprus. Identification of TBI in this context is important to ensure patients will receive appropriate intervention and referrals."

Both formal and informal restorative schemes face difficulties and obstacles as to their implementation. A comparative perspective is attempted through an evaluation of a case study from Juvenile Probation Services and qualitative research findings from the activity of the Hellenic Social Mediation Centre.

The VAST project has been implemented by the Institute for Police and Security Research at University for Public Administration Bremen and the partners University of Sassari UNISS (Italy) and the European Public Law Organisation EPLO (Greece).

Αντικείμενο του κεφαλαίου είναι η ενημέρωση και ευαισθητοποίηση των επαγγελματιών σχετικά με τις νέες εξελίξεις και πρακτικές που προβλέπει η Ευρωπαική Οδηγία, όπως είναι η Αποκαταστατική Δικαιοσύνη. Θα παρουσιαστούν τα ευρήματα πρωτογενούς ευρωπαϊκής έρευνας που αφορούν τα θύματα εγκληματικότητας και τους επαγγελματίες, καθώς και κατευθυντήριες γραμμές για την διευκόλυνση της εφαρμογής της Οδηγίας 2012/29/ΕΕ και των πρακτικών της Αποκαταστατικής Δικαιοσύνης. RJE is a two-year project taking place in the UK, Netherlands, Greece, Germany and Bulgaria. It is designed to implement the EU Directive on Minimum Standards on the Rights, Support and Protection of Victims. The first stage of this project is literature reviews from all partner countries in their own languages. This paper provides an English language summary of Greek literature relating to safeguarding victims during the restorative justice process.
