About Pablo
Pablo Murad was born on August 12, 1987, in the small town of Soledade de Minas, located in southern Minas Gerais, Brazil. From early childhood, he demonstrated a deep and instinctive curiosity for technology, frequently dismantling household electronics in order to understand how they functioned. At a time when the internet in Brazil was still in its infancy and access to information depended largely on books, Pablo developed an insatiable reading habit and an almost vital need for knowledge, driven by a lifelong question: “How do things work?”
In 1997, with the acquisition of his first computer—a Pentium MMX—Pablo took his first steps into software development, studying Delphi and creating his earliest applications on the now-defunct Windows 95. Although deeply immersed in technology, his youthful aspirations once led him toward the Catholic priesthood, a path he would later abandon in favor of broader intellectual and personal ambitions.
During early adolescence, Pablo cultivated a profound passion for photography and cinema, envisioning a future as a film director or screenwriter. While this dream was never fully realized, his intense cinephilia—combined with his devotion to literature—played a decisive role in shaping his cultural, intellectual, and philosophical formation.
By the early 2000s, Pablo reached a defining realization: his curiosity, creativity, and logical reasoning converged most powerfully in programming. Around this period, he studied under a former Microsoft employee, who mentored him for a year and introduced him to Python (version 2.0)—a programming language that would remain a constant presence throughout his professional life.
Despite his intellectual depth, Pablo was a mediocre student by conventional academic standards, often distracted and absorbed in his own thoughts. This lack of focus culminated in a failed school year during high school—an event that marked a profound emotional turning point. Rather than surrender, he enrolled in an accelerated education program, enabling him to progress academically and prepare for university entrance examinations.
In 2003, Pablo attended a rigorous pre-university program at Poliedro School in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, including the nationally renowned ITA intensive track. His efforts resulted in successful admissions to several prestigious law schools, including Mackenzie, the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP), Dom Helder Câmara University, and Universidade José do Rosário Vellano. He chose the latter for its proximity to his hometown and completed his final year at Faculdade São Lourenço.
Graduating with distinction, Pablo ranked among the top students of his class. Nevertheless, he chose not to pursue a legal career and never sat for the Brazilian Bar Examination, having grown disillusioned with what he perceived as a dissonance between legal ethics and real-world practice. This ideological rupture led him to abandon the legal profession entirely.
Pablo then embarked on a one-year sabbatical, traveling across the world to explore cultures, aspirations, and new perspectives. He eventually settled in Russia, where he learned to speak Russian and nearly married—an experience that deeply transformed his worldview.

Upon returning to Brazil, feeling momentarily defeated, Pablo attempted several ventures that failed to prosper. It was during this period that he joined forces with his mother, a recently retired educator, to build a new, accessible, and de-bureaucratized educational model. From this shared vision, Portal IDEA was born—his first major enterprise.
Portal IDEA expanded rapidly, gaining national and international recognition. Today, its educational methodology and digital platform rank among the top 10 in the world within the education sector. Pablo is frequently invited to podcasts, lectures, and high-level networking events, admired not only for his achievements but also for the originality and resilience of his journey.
At the core of Pablo Murad’s philosophy lies an unwavering belief in the democratization of education at any cost. Guided by this conviction, he continues to expand.
