Malaga-Gibraltar Days 1-3

The next day it was off to the airport in Minorca before the sun rose and it was almost a whole day travelling from Minorca to Barcelona before I got to Malaga. I had a bit of a scare when my baggage didn’t arrive at Malaga, but it was OK. It had been put in with luggage that had arrived from overseas. Obviously the Malagan baggage handlers thought Minorca was sufficiently overseas to be considered foreign. *g* A quick train trip into the city and the hotel was a short walk from the train station. I dumped my bags and went for a little wander around the central area before going back to the hotel because I had to be up early to get the bus to La Línea del la Concepción along the coast and then to cross the border into Gibraltar. The high rise overdevelopment mess created along the Spanish Coast is truly appalling in some areas, though it was for a fair bit of the way a reasonably pleasant bus ride. Got to La Línea bus station mid-afternoon and after five minutes walked across the border to Gibraltar.
