How to Install the Plugin

In order to design your site with WordPress using some useful plugin like ours, the first thing you’ll need to know how to install a plugin itself on the WP dashboard.

It’s very easy to install a plugin and go up and running with it. For user’s convenience, we prepare a step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin. So let’s start!


 

System Requirements,

To get the best experience of any latest plugin (like our exclusive Flip-box), we suggest the following:

  1.     PHP 5.6 or later
  2.     MySQL 5.6 or later
  3.     WordPress 4.4.1 or later

All of our plugins have come with a very user-friendly interface. You can install a plugin in many ways. We have covered the most popular and easiest method of installation. Let’s dive into it:

Installing a Plugin:


One of the simplest ways of installing a WordPress plugin is to use the Admin Plugin Uploader. Let’s see how it works:

First, navigate to Plugins > Add New from your WP Dashboard.

Here you need to hit a search on which plugin you want to install.

Type the name in the search box, and your plugin will appear associated with an Install Button.

Hit the Install button to install Flipbox – Awesomes Flip Boxes Image Overlay

Now, hit the Activate Button and you’ll be up and running with this plugin.

This is the most basic way to install a plugin directly from the WordPress directory. You’ll find this very easy and useful every time you want to install a free or demo plugin.

 

 

Try Another Way


Sometimes you may need to install plugins directly with the plugin file instead. Whether it’s for installing the pro version or anything, try the following method to upload and install the plugin directly:

 

First, download the plugin from the Source (which will be a zip file).

Next, you need to go to the WordPress admin area and visit Plugins > Add New page.

After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page to bring up the uploading plugin panel like below,

This will bring you to the plugin uploading page.

Here, you need to click on the Choose File button and select the zip file of the plugin which you’ve downloaded before.

Now, click on the Install Now button to install the plugin.

 

And then Activate it by clicking on the Activate Plugin button.

 

That’s all, you’ve just installed a plugin to your WordPress Dashboard and your plugin is ready to use!
