Sometimes you may need to install plugins directly with the plugin file instead. Whether it’s for installing the pro version or anything, try the following method to upload and install the plugin directly:
⇒First, download the plugin from the Source (which will be a zip file).
⇒Next, you need to go to the WordPress admin area and visit Plugins > Add New page.
⇒After that, click on the Upload Plugin button on top of the page to bring up the uploading plugin panel like below,
This will bring you to the plugin uploading page.
⇒Here, you need to click on the Choose File button and select the zip file of the plugin which you’ve downloaded before.
⇒Now, click on the Install Now button to install the plugin.
⇒And then Activate it by clicking on the Activate Plugin button.
That’s all, you’ve just installed a plugin to your WordPress Dashboard and your plugin is ready to use!
