GARO Versus Road – Full Series Batch

Last year’s GARO, fixes two typos on the filenames for episode 3 and 4, and a video fix on episode 8. This show is standalone and doesn’t require you to watch the shows before it – I would argue it might be better enjoyed before watching any other GAROs, just be advised this is very different from the usual format of the past shows.

If you have access to higher quality webrips (Prime JP I think?) or blurays for this show, or at the very least cleaner sources for episode 8, please let us know on Discord. Thanks!

i’ve typed this a gorillion times already in the past 24 hours so excuse me if this is a bit loopy or redundant

After talking to TVN and other parties to compare emails, we’re convinced that the letter TVN got is indeed legit. We’re aware of at least three letters being sent from the same address. We have not received a letter atm.

Starting this week, we’re no longer sharing raws for Rider/Sentai, and we’ll stop posting Zenkaiger or any Rider/Sentai shows in the future.

Please, and I cannot stress this enough, do not contact the copyright holders on anyone’s behalf. It’s a waste of time, it will not change things,  and it might make the people you’re contacting reconsider how they use their social media.

We appreciate your support throughout these ten years! Keep an eye out on the blog and our socials for other non Rider/Sentai stuff we might work on.

We support black americans as they stand today against decades of racism, injustice and systemic violence in America.

Here are some resources on how you can help, learn, and spread awareness of the injustices black americans face every day. Even if you think this is not something that should concern you, or that it doesn’t apply to you as a non-american, I’d still encourage you to read and educate yourself on the Black Lives Matter movement. Not only just to support your friends abroad, but as a learning tool to recognize and fight against racism and abuse on your local community.

There’s also some information on mental health resources, that we hope can be useful as well. They’re primarily geared towards black americans, but there’s also some general numbers and websites that can be of use to anyone. Don’t be scared to take a break from social media or the relentless news cycle from time to time; it’s okay to not be okay.

Fuck, ten years

Ten years ago, on the 13th of September of 2009, our main TL and head hermit HeatMetal thought it was a good idea to ask the denizens of /m/ for help on subtitling this show called Kamen Rider W. After some handful of iterations, weird j-drama subbing takeovers and other shenanigans, he and his rotating team of helpers managed to make it to the finish line. Some of them remain to this day, typing sarcastic comments on discord or writing commemorative posts for the moment. To all of you who have stuck along, thank you. Why are you here? But thank you nonetheless.

For the third year in a row, there’s nothing special for this day, because I remembered far too late to prepare anything for it. Needless to say, I do feel obligated to commemorate a decade of the passing of time, at the very least. So there’s that.

Fuck, we’re old.
