Education. Advocacy. Safety.
Community Building. Empowerment.

OUTBermuda envisions a Bermuda in which LGBTQ+ Bermudians and residents are free from the harmful impacts of discrimination and stigmatization.

Welcome

OUTBermuda is Bermuda's only charity dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ people. We're working to create a Bermuda where every LGBTQ+ person is seen, valued, and supported.

What we do

1:1 Counseling Sessions

By supporting accessible mental health services, we aim to help protect Bermuda’s LGBTQ+ community from the harmful effects of discrimination and marginalization. Through our partnership with Solstice, LGBTQ+ residents can self-refer for up to eight free 1:1 counseling sessions, with costs covered by OUTBermuda for those uninsured or facing copays.

Education Bursary

OUTBermuda offers an Education Bursary to support equity and access by providing financial assistance to a Bermuda-based LGBTQ+ community member pursuing studies at Bermuda College or an accredited international institution. The 2025 bursary has been awarded, and applications are encouraged again in 2026.

LGBTQ+ Trainings

OUTBermuda’s LGBTQ+ Trainings build a visible network of support by equipping individuals and organizations with knowledge, resources, and confidence around sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression. The trainings deepen understanding of Bermuda’s LGBTQ+ history, challenge assumptions, and strengthen the capacity of workplaces, schools, and community spaces to be inclusive, safe, and affirming.

Pride

Bermuda Pride has been an annual tradition since 2019, serving as both a celebration and a powerful act of visibility, protest, and unity against discrimination. Beyond the march, Pride fosters connection and joy while raising vital funds to support year-round LGBTQ+ initiatives such as free counseling, empowerment grants, and education bursaries.
