My research interests are international business, strategic implementation, and strategic management. My current research focuses on Female Migrant Entrepreneurs in Finland. This research seeks to illustrate how migrated entrepreneurs cope with the cultural gap. Additionally, this research focuses on their well-being and marginalization when they go through different stages of entrepreneurial challenges.

PurposeThis paper explores the survival strategies and coping mechanisms of ethnic minority entre... more PurposeThis paper explores the survival strategies and coping mechanisms of ethnic minority entrepreneurs operating in the hospitality sector in northern Finland during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.Design/methodology/approachThe paper utilizes qualitative research approach based on six exploratory case studies. The in-depth interviews in two phases were conducted with owners/mangers of ethnic minority entrepreneurial restaurants.FindingsThe findings reveal that all studied case firms undertook quick adjustments in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, staff working hours were reduced through mutual consultation, and readjustments to the supply chain were made so that critical ingredients remain available despite the forced lockdown and supply chain bottlenecks. However, the readjustment of the supply chain was not visible in all case firms. As a result, many firms are investing to leverage these technological advancements to expand their target audience and ultimately access foreign markets. It is important to explain that different organizational entities tend to have different approaches to internationalization. However, this report aims to examine how modern firms are using the Uppsala model during the internationalization process. It wishes to determine the efficacy of the Uppsala model, as well as the impacts of the Uppsala model on international entrepreneurship. This conceptual research can be helpful to the managers and policy makers (Huo & Hung, 2015) when they are planning to expand business globally by using appropriate Uppsala model.

The organization can quickly fail if such strategies are not executed well. When an organization plans to implement the required strategic plan, it certainly addresses all the predicaments that the organization may face like the probability of misusing the inadequate capital or the risk of self-worth in case the business fails. In essence, the conceptual study presents the strategy implementation process to enhance the attainment of the mission and the vision of the business through quality products and services that increases the customer base. Therefore, the result of the paper shows that the firm should implement an excellent strategy to achieve the entire objective to meet all the goals of an organization.
