Components

The OtterVIS LGL spectrophotometer is largely 3D-printed. However, the some components are needed.

Sensor:

  • linear CCD (TCD1304DG or TCD1304AP)
  • CCD-PCB
  • 74HC04 (SO-14), 2SA-1015Y (TO-92), 2x 150R (0805), 2k2R (0805), 2x 0,1µF (0805), 10µF 16V (1206)
  • STM Nucleo F401RE
  • 10 pin IDC cable (anything will do really)

Optics:

  • 2x Pentax SMC-M 50mm f/2 camera lenses
  • 1x Diffraction grating slide – 1000 lines/mm

Misc:

  • 1x DE-razor blade
  • M3 hex-screws
  • 5 ball-point pen springs
  • Assorted magnets
  • app. 200 g of PLA-filament

Light source (still a work in progress):

  • 1x Mini MagLite 2-cell AA xenon bulb
  • 5V 500mA power supply
  • LM317
  • 1000µF 16V capacitor
