This plugin is a client for the NubIA SaaS platform. It connects to the external API hosted at https://nuberutec.com to process chat messages and (optionally) submit lead forms. To use the plugin you need an active NubIA account and a user_id provided by Nuberu.

Installation

  1. Upload the plugin from the WordPress dashboard (Plugins Add New Upload Plugin) or install it from the official repository.

  2. Activate the plugin.

  3. Go to the sidebar menu Nuberu Chat Settings.

  4. Enter your user_id.

  5. Configure the customization options (colors, logos, texts, etc.).

  6. Add the shortcode [nuberu_chat] to any page or post where you want to display the chat.

FAQ

Do I need a Nuberu account?

Yes. The plugin requires a user_id generated from NubIA. Contact Nuberu to obtain your unique identifier.

Does the plugin work on WordPress.com?

Only on Business plans or higher that allow uploading custom plugins.

Is the plugin code free?

Yes, the plugin is open-source under GPLv2 license. The NubIA backend is an external service.

Can I customize the chat colors?

Yes, in the settings page you can set a primary and secondary color that will be applied to the chat widget.

What is the difference between floating widget and section mode?

The floating widget appears as a floating button in the corner of the screen that expands when clicked. Section mode displays the chat as a full section on the page, ideal for dedicated chat pages.

Can I use my own logo?

Yes, you can upload the URL of your logo in the settings. You can also specify if the logo needs a dark background to display correctly.

Is the conversation history saved?

The history is saved locally in the user’s browser using localStorage. It is not stored on the WordPress server.

Does it work with any WordPress theme?

Yes, the plugin is designed to be compatible with most WordPress themes. The styles are independent and should not interfere with your theme’s design.
