The ORCID US Community hosts several events each year, including informational webinars, community showcase webinars, and community calls. Select events from the Lyrasis DataCite US Community for DOIs (a related persistent identifier) can also be found below.

  • The Community Showcase includes featured case studies of ORCID adoption and integration, as well as examples of ORCID outreach and promotional materials, from institutional members of the ORCID US Community. Community Showcases are available in our Resource Library under the category: Community Showcase.
  • Community calls are sessions for members of the ORCID US Community and other interested parties to learn and discuss specific topics related to ORCID.  Community calls are available in our Resource Library under the category: Community Call.
  • Next Steps Conversations are an informal way for members of the ORCID US Community to come together for discussion and sharing on ORCID. Next Steps Conversations are not available publicly. Reach out to [email protected] for more information.

ORCID US Community Code of Conduct

The ORCID US Community is a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for dialogue and sharing amongst representatives from organizations interested in adopting ORCID. Participants are expected to be respectful and considerate to others. Harassment and discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and may constitute removal of perpetrators from present and future community activities and communication channels. For more details about our community guidelines, please see the Lyrasis Code of Conduct.
