Mondaecus is a collaborative translation platform that introduces a human dimension to machine translation, improving its sensitivity to different linguistic contexts. It reinforces multilingualism for the advancement of science and the transfer of knowledge in scholarly communication. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mondaecus was developed by the University of Coimbra within the context of OPERAS projects: its idea was conceived during the OPERAS-P project, and the prototyping and first version were prepared and released during the OPERAS-PLUS project. Mondaecus is also a result of the collaborative work of the OPERAS Multilingualism Special Interest Group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
