Ontrack PowerControls Free Edition 7.1

Ontrack PowerControls Free Edition is a lightweight utility for quickly locating and previewing individual items in Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint backups without performing a full restore. Using an intuitive, Explorer-like interface, it lets you open offline databases, browse mailboxes and site content, and run targeted searches by keyword, sender/recipient, subject, or date to verify and triage recoverable data.

Designed primarily for evaluation and triage, the Free Edition enables browsing, searching, and previewing items to confirm what’s available in your backups. Full export and granular recovery back to live servers or files require a licensed edition. It’s particularly useful for backup validation, eDiscovery scoping, and planning targeted restores while avoiding time-consuming full database recoveries.
