Michelle and I were a little slower getting everything out this round, due to a classic New England piledriver combination of rotating seasonal colds, endless snow zone punishments and good old weather worn age. Despite those things, the turnout was very strong and has been steady, which in these times is an extremely fortunate thing. We really appreciate the hyper fuel that you each transfer into our energy tanks, as it's literally what keeps this machine moving forward on all levels.
To celebrate what seems like the actual end of a very long winter, we're sneaking a couple of new figures into the store today, March 31st, at 12 noon EDT:
In preparation of a rumored Armorvor offensive that Liocarrus is mounting on Armorrea, the benevolent Varteryx have begun to collectively evolve into a new fortified "Varteriun" form, synthesizing elements derived of not only enhanced Traveler DNA, but also from another, as yet unseen, lifeform.
This small wave also marks the last official run of the original Varteryx head sculpt, which has been in production since the debut of the Glyarmor back in December 2015. All future Glyarmor Sets will now be packed with the brand new Varteriun head sculpt instead, along with the rest of the usual parts.
Wrapping up, the current plan has our next wave hopefully landing in mid-April, featuring a few selections that fans of oddball characters might especially enjoy (I'm looking at you, Magne Powers 99 enthusiasts). It should be an extra fun one!
