About Me
š I am Wei Chen, a Ph.D. Student at HKUST-GZ, HKUST and NUS. My main supervisors is Professor Yuxuan Liang. I'm also co-advised by Professor Xiaofang Zhou and Professor Roger Zimmermann.
š Research Topic:
- I am broadly interested in different kinds of principled and scalable learning algorithms, with a particular interest in designing general lifelong learners that can efficiently adapt to new environments over time.
- During my PhD studies, I developed principled, full-lifecycle ML algorithms (e.g., data-curation, pre-training, continual learning, test-time learning, ...) for physical world modeling (a general version of sequence modeling).
- Now, Iām doing something similar in language sequence models / world models.
