OmnisGM is a realtime companion for the in-person D&D table. Players keep their sheet on their phone: HP, slots, conditions, inventory. The GM sees every change the moment it happens. No passing the phone around. No “wait, what’s your modifier again?”

“Roll for initiative.” — “Hold on — what’s my modifier?” — “I’m casting fireball — how many slots do I have left?” — “Pass me your sheet, let me check your AC.” The GM keeps a notebook of everyone’s stats and falls behind by round three. The book’s open to three pages at once. Someone’s sheet has a beer stain on it. Someone’s character died last week and still hasn’t been redrawn.
Each their own.
On a tablet or laptop.
Across the table or across the country.
Players only ever see each other’s public side.
Not the one on the rulebook cover. Yours.
A web app that installs like a native one and behaves like a native one. Firestore caches everything locally — when the connection drops, the game keeps going and changes send on reconnect. No app store, no 47 MB download, no review queue. Open the link, tap Add to Home Screen — done.
Every ability, skill, save and proficiency. Hit dice that recover on a long rest. Death saves. Conditions. Inventory with weight, attunement and currency. Auto-computed attacks, Spell Save DC, Spell Attack. Multiclass with prerequisite checks. Inspiration, exhaustion, initiative — all in one place, all live.
The full SRD multiclass table — full, half and third casters combine by the rules. Warlock pact magic is counted separately, the way it should be. Most tools (yes, including paid ones) break on this, or just don’t do it. We did.
Knowing what a tool refuses to be is more useful than knowing what it calls itself.
No tokens, no maps, no dynamic lighting, no fog of war. If you need a VTT — that’s Foundry or Roll20. We’re for the table where people actually sit across from each other.
No NPC generator. No automated encounters. No “session summary” nobody asked for. Just sheets, in real time, that work. AI isn’t our positioning.
A character belongs to its campaign — its rules, its homebrew, its world. Want the same character in another game? Rebuild them there — under that campaign’s rules and its world. Every campaign is its own reality.
Web and PWA only. We’re not building an iOS app. We’re not building an Android app. The browser is the platform. Loads in two seconds and updates without you lifting a finger.
OmnisGM is in open alpha. Three regular users — me and the two friends I play with. It started as a tool for our table, not a startup chasing a market. I put in 8–12 hours a week, ship updates every week, and I’d rather have ten tables that actually use it than ten thousand signups that don’t. It’s free right now, and it stays that way until there are enough of you to tell me what people would pay for.
