The French OLIVE4ALL team and the Musée de Salagon are looking forward to seeing you on 1 and 2 June in Mane, for the national “RDV aux Jardins” event. Several events are scheduled in connection with the temporary exhibition “The olive tree, our tree“:
- Saturday, 3 pm – Conference and tasting of oils from around the world : Come and compare Mediterranean oils and those from the New World with oleologist Emmanuelle Dechelette.
- Satruday, 4:30 pm – “Understanding the taste of olives” : Dialogue between Christophe Lavelle, a researcher specialising in food, and Emmanuelle Dechelette. Signings by the two authors at the end of the talks.
- Sunday, 11:30 am – “Landscapes and heritage of the olive tree” : Talk with Frédéric Joulian, anthropologist and Stéphane Anglès, geographer, moderated by Julie Deramond, researcher specialising in heritage.
