Summary: Episode 14X13, "Lebanon" (so big spoilers for that). The night that follows the *cough* events *cough* is hard on everyone in the bunker. Cas witnesses the way it goes for Sam. He expected trouble, but not this.

The fic touches on the repercussions of early emotional trauma, which the show can't really tackle to the degree I'd like it to. So there's mainly vulnerable!Sam, guilt, emotional flashbacks mixed with dissociation, and Castiel's weekly Understanding Psychologically Wounded Humans challenge. Probably more hurt than comfort in this h/c, really. Sorry.
