About OEM

The UC Berkeley Office of Emergency Management (OEM) works collaboratively to plan and prepare the campus for emergencies, educate about preparedness, and coordinate response and recovery.

Our Mission:

• Administer a comprehensive campus emergency management and continuity program to respond to, recover from, and reduce the effects of risks associated with emergencies of all types and sizes.
• Foster partnerships both internally and externally to assist the UC Berkeley community in preparing for events that threaten the continuity of the campus mission.
