Talk to a 4 year old about walking upside down and gravity and then show them the video for Lionel Richie’s Dancing on the Ceiling. Mind blowing. Apparently the whole room rotated according to the Wikipedia page for the song.
What’s new in Minecraft 1.8?

That NPC village looks nice!
A flipping good time!

Go download it, it’s free!
Happy Birthday TF2!
It’s hard to believe but Team Fortress 2 is really 15 years old! Well, strictly speaking the franchise is 15 years old but who am I to raise that point on such a day? To celebrate they’re giving every player who plays today a free hat and other goodies. You’ll also see other birthday party related changes to the game like cake and presents instead of health and ammo packs. Check out the screenshots below!
Wonderful Portal 2 Videos
No doubt you’ve already seen the engagement video above but here’s a short live action movie called, “Portal: No Escape” worth watching too. (via)
Quite enjoying Multiwinia fun little game
Quite enjoying Multiwinia, fun little game. I’m playing it on Easy difficulty, but even on that I lost a game or two. The “advanced topics” tutorial could be a little clearer. It’s easy to miss the “You must do this next to go on to the next step” banners. Saying that, it’s wonderful seeing your little armies advance upon the enemy and the pow-pow of laser fire […]
Sneaky spammy web forms
I have a feeling the renewal form that Imagine Publishing in the UK uses had this sneaky web form last year too. Read the opt out clauses, carefully. None of the checkboxes were checked by default and as you can see they’re below the “Place Your Order” button. Sneaky.

A really simple way to archive your Tweets
You have a gmail account don’t you? Visit Google Reader now. Click on the “Add a Subscription” button. Type in the web address of your Twitter profile. Mine is http://twitter.com/donncha. Click Add. There is no #5. Since Google Reader doesn’t have the 3,200 post limit that Twitter has you can always get access to your old tweets, even when you go over that limit. On the downside, your Twitter account can’t be private and Google will find out yet more about you (but they probably already indexed your Twitter account anyway so no loss there!)
