(I should have updated my lj much sooner with this news, sorry!)
On Sat 7th June, my dad passed away peacefully after a long (4 year) illness. At the end he stayed at the Marie Cure Centre in Newcastle, who gave him much better care than he could receive at home.
Following are the details of my dad's funeral for anyone interested in attending.
The funeral of David Hunsley will be held at the West Road Crematorium, Newcastle Upon Tyne, on Friday 13th June at 10.45am. Flowers from family only please, non-family please consider making a donation to the Marie Curie Centre. A retiring collection will be held in aid of the Marie Curie Centre at the cremation.

There will be a wake held at the Mariott Hotel in Gosforth Park, starting 12.30pm.
