Our Story

Oban Lorne RFC was founded in 1962

A relatively young club, but with lots of character and spirit!

With strong links with Oban High School’s School of Rugby, the club is now a thriving hub of rugby in the area.

Inclusive

Rugby is for anyone and everyone, and has a great sense of togetherness.

Fun

From the mini's to the veterans, the game should be enjoyed, and we aim to have fun at OLRFC!

Respect

The wonderful game of rugby teaches us to respect each other on and off the field.

Special thanks to Stephen lawson Photography for the use of some of his fantastic photos

Safety first

Phone: 07974219619

Email: [email protected]

We as a club take safety very seriously, so the game can be enjoyed by everyone. As well as player injuries, first aid, and Covid-19 procedures, we have a Child Protection Officer who you can contact confidentially at any time if you have concerns. Kirsty Blainey is the club’s CPO and is available to talk if you ever need to.
