Ahmed Helmy
Ahmed Helmy is an Egyptian artist and designer. He was born in 1982 in Giza, Egypt.
During his Bachelor of Applied Arts in Advertising Design from The Faculty of Applied Arts, October 6 university, he participated in different art and design classes, In the previous years he received his Master’s of Advanced Studies in Graphic & Advertising Arts from Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. He is currently working as an Assistant lecturer of Advertising & Graphic Design Department at The Faculty of Applied Arts, October 6 University, Giza, Egypt.
He has been an artist and designer since 2002. He had Participated and won awards in many exhibitions and workshops in Egypt and abroad. His works are primarily based on contemporary arts. He has always been fascinated by the creative process. As an artist Ahmed has developed a particular fascination for nature and human life.
He has always been passionate about the concept of art and had developed his talent in a variety of mediums. Using a wide array of media Ahmad creates a profound visual effect. His work is dynamic and highly intuitive.
However his goal is not sensationalism. His targets are series of experiments aimed to identify and define the limits and audience's relationship with an artist.
