We, in an explorative manner, went further to understand the underlying mechanism which promotes innovative work-related behavior. We collected data from individuals at RD also open-mindedness mediated the relationship between thematic thinking and innovative work behavior. This study has explored, tested, and empirically proved a novel relation in the local context of R&D related individuals (managers) working in diverse fields. The current research extends thematic thinking in the domain of cognition, innovation, and workplace behavior. It concludes that managerial decision making is elemental in performing innovatively. Practical and managerial implications, limitations, and future research directions are discussed to enrich the domain of thematic similarity further.

As employees are one of the primary stakeholders and are known as second consumers, their concerns about celebrity endorsement effectiveness and pride need attention for building their identification with an organization. This study investigated the internal branding process by examining employees’ brand orientation, celebrity-organization value congruence, and the accuracy of employee portrayal. Data are collected from a leading multinational bank in Pakistan through a structured questionnaire. The results of the study showed that when employees felt celebrity endorsement matched organizational values, the celebrity successfully portrayed actual corporate values. Thus, employees believed that endorsement effectively gained consumers’ attention and built a strong corporate image. Creativity and innovativeness are parallel yet non-identical concepts; newly introduced products are either somewhat thematically similar or taxonomically similar to the existing products. There is a need for the explication of creativity and innovativeness as separate or as unified concepts in newly developed products, in particular, thematic products. A mixed-method design was adopted to establish definitions and components of creativity and innovativeness in the ideas presented at the innovation summit through 489 perceptual reports on 14 feature-based and theme-based product ideas. On the whole, three components—originality, value, and commercial appeal—were derived and tested. Results revealed the significance of originality as a major component of creativity and innovativeness in all products. The study being done in response to the high demand of making the organizations more supportive t... more The study being done in response to the high demand of making the organizations more supportive to encounter the abundant changes that occur and reoccur in the world of business .The role of leadership is undeniable, pervasive and overwhelming as "leadership that reinforces learning" is one of the building blocks of "learning organizations" this study will benefit the organizations to compare their potential to take the advantage of their leadership to embark on the journey of learning. At the same time it will serve the purpose of new domains in research to improvise leadership traits, styles and their real time utility. The most important variable in the third building block "leadership that reinforces learning" have been found to be the interaction of leaders with their subordinates, identify and ultimately resolve their ambiguities. The other variable found significant is the transfer of knowledge to others across the organizations. The result also reveals that both education as well as manufacturing sector lacks the active and effective role of leadership. It is concluded that education sector even lags behind the manufacturing concerns. It is therefore concluded that in order to make these sectors impart value to the society leadership be enhanced.
