The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) and Stanford University invite faculty participation in the 2nd collaborative workshop, with this event focused on Integrated Ocean Science & Technology, designed to foster new research partnerships and generate competitive joint research proposals addressing critical challenges in the maritime domain.

Accelerating Warfighting Capabilities: Naval Postgraduate School's 23rd Annual Acquisition Research Symposium & Innovation Summit

This free, unclassified, sponsored event is the premier forum for advancing acquisition research and innovation in support of the warfighter. Every year, we bring together academic researchers, acquisition professionals, and defense service leaders for two days of exploration, discovery, and dialogue intended to inform acquisition policy and modernization efforts.
This year's event is themed Accelerating Warfighting Capabilities. Panels will explore and promote innovative ways to enhance readiness, deter adversaries, and increase warfighting capabilities by reviving our defense industrial base, reforming our acquisition process, and rapidly fielding emerging technologies.
The event will feature keynotes from:

2026 Defense Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulation Summit
The MOVES Institute will virtually host the 2026 Defense Modeling Virtual Environments and Simulation Summit. The event will be held June 2-4, 2026. This event was previously known at "The MOVES Open House."
We are currently working on the agenda but expect to hear talks by leaders in DoW modeling and simulation, updates on MOVES research projects, presentations and demos by our students, and discussions on other M&S topics.
