Murray Goulden
I'm a sociologist with a PhD in Science and Technology Studies, currently Lecturer at the School of Sociology & Social Policy, University of Nottingham. I am conducting a Fellowship on the 'Social Life of the Smart Home', exploring domestic life in the context of Internet of Things technologies, and the political economies they are a part of. My work addresses the role of digital technologies - particularly the Internet of Things - within everyday life: on the changing patterns of life that result, and the implications for governance and design, including in the areas of energy and digital data.
