I had a kind of overwhelming day at work and I was a little frustrated. Then I had dinner with Malissa and listened to her vent about the daycare. And I'm back to being happy I have this job. Now we just need to get her out of there!

We were supposed to be gathering at Jessye's for a while tonight but everyone is being typical and not showing up. I'm just thankful that Malissa let me know before I went over there. So I went to Walmart instead. Now I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow. But I'm going to make sure I go to church on Sunday. I have to take a break from working sometime this weekend or I'm going to have a meltdown.

Some work-related event got cancelled this week so there was a cake waiting for us today. They ate a lot of it at the board meeting but we all got some too and then there was still some leftover. There was a lot of debate about who was going to take it and when they threatened to throw it away, I said I would take it to Malissa. Heh. "Happy Birthday! I brought you a half-eaten cake!" I am such a good friend. ;)

My cats are so spoiled. I can't go to Walmart without buying them a new toy. Tonight they got a play cave with a tunnel and a crinkly pad inside. They're having so much fun!
