Well, I found a lizard in my closet. I'm not sure it's the lizard. It looks smaller than that one. But for my sanity we're going to assume it's that one until I'm proven wrong. Anyway, it's gone and I really hope it was the last one.

My best friend from college is in town for her training so we went to dinner and then walked around the mall. We had a good time and it makes me feel mean but I really wish she would always come without her husband and kids. Well, maybe not always. He's my friend too and her kids are pretty entertaining. But coming by herself more than once every three years would be great. We might go to dinner again tomorrow night depending on when I get back to town from visiting the new preschool site in my hometown and depending on where the other teachers are going for dinner. They were going to Olive Garden tonight and she doesn't like that so she was very happy that she already had plans.

Lori is still in the hospital and that really sucks because today is her birthday. She was supposed to go home today but then her blood pressure was too low so she's still stuck there. Poor Lori. :(

I seem to be feeling better. Still a little congested, still coughing a little but mostly feeling okay. I made it through the whole day anyway. I'm hoping I'll get up and go for a walk in the morning but I'll have to see how I sleep tonight.

I think DH has broken me. I've been reading tons of fic but very few of the stories have been slash. :O Most have been gen or even het. But not het with sex! I'm not that crazy. :P Also, people need to write faster because I'm out of fic to read.

I haven't heard from Lori all weekend. I'm hoping that means she's out of the hospital or enough people are there entertaining her that she doesn't need to call me for someone to talk to.

Yesterday I thought I was getting better but I woke up feeling worse again this morning. The congestion has moved from my chest to my throat and nose. I'm not sure if that's good or bad since the progression usually goes the opposite way but I mostly just want it gone. I have to go to work tomorrow but I'm not sure I'll make it the whole day. We'll see.

There's a lizard somewhere in my apartment again and I'm not pleased. At one point the cats had it trapped behind some bookcases in my bedroom but it got away from them and now I don't know where it is. Ick. Lizards need to stay OUT of my apartment.

I took some pictures of the kitties yesterday with my new phone. That was fun. I don't know how much I like the text message part of the phone though. I need to ask Hope about some things because right now it's very time-consuming and confusing. I should see her on Thursday when we meet them to pick up Tanner so I'll have to pick her brain then.
