Lance's book cost more than DH and it's about a third of the size. I haven't had a chance to start reading it yet so that's the extent of my opinion so far. :P At least I made it to the mall to buy it!

Oh, Perez, you stupid, stupid waste of space. I don't think Lance is perfect. But as someone who six days ago received an autograph(twice)and a beautiful smile from Lance as he took the time to sign as many autographs as he could, I have a hard time believing he was mean to anyone. Of course I didn't go there expecting multiple pictures and long drawn-out conversations with him so perhaps I would have been more disappointed if my expectations hadn't been so low. People need to get a grip. I also happened to overhear some of the security people talking about how some fans had pulled on him or something while he walked to his car and that's why he wasn't allowing autographs or whatever beyond a certain point. Idiots bring restrictions on themselves.

Whatever. He's been nice to me or others every time I've encountered him so I'm going to believe my own impressions of him, thank you very much.

Well, hey, at least it brought me out of my laziness and prompted me to post. :P

Boo to Top Chef last night. I understood it and saw it coming but I'm not happy about it. Hrm.

My brother's girlfriend (bride-to-be? I can't remember if they're engaged.) is pregnant. Yesterday I got an invitation to her baby shower. It's being given by my stepmother and stepsister at my dad's house but since I like Craig and Jennie, I thought I'd probably go anyway. Except they're having it the same day as Lisa is having her sextoy party so there's really no contest. So I'm going to buy a present and give it to Jaimie to take for me.

It's been an okay week. Recently they split up the team of two teachers in one of my classrooms and moved one of them to my other classroom. That classroom also has two completely new teachers in the classroom. Since the split, the teacher that moved has blossomed and is doing a great job. Especially considering the behavior problems in that classroom and two assistants that are capable but don't know anything about the curriculum. I'm very proud of her. However, the teacher that didn't move is driving me nuts. She's acting like she's never been trained in our curriculum and can just make random changes and decisions whenever she feels like it. I was dreading her going on maternity leave in December but now I'm sort of looking forward to it. She's very stubborn and I just want to smack her frequently. Oh, I'm such a good mentor. Hey, I haven't actually smacked her!

I was supposed to go out with Melissa tomorrow night. And apparently Jessye, Jessica and Danyale are also planning to go so it would probably be a lot of fun. I do want to go. But that annoying cough I had a few weeks ago is back and I've had a serious lack of energy this week. And now it's apparently going to storm all day and evening tomorrow. So I really doubt I'm going to go. We'll see.

I am going to have lunch with Malissa on Saturday so at least I'll get all the gossip and news from the daycare.

No matter what I decide, I'm really happy tomorrow is Friday. Why do short weeks always seem so long?

Lance should not wear brown, I think. It does nothing for him. But pictures of Reichen's hand on Lance's chest looking like he's searching for nipple? I approve. And pictures of Lance with JC make me happy. Not as happy as pictures of Lance with Joey and/or Chris make me. But still happy.

Since I didn't do anything productive yesterday, I have a big list of things to do today. I don't want to do them. But I have Trick from Netflix and that will be my reward if I get everything done before evening.

I forgot to mention that yesterday was Alicia's birthday. She's 10! Ack. Both of my nieces are in double digits now. How did that happen?

Time to get started. Bleh.
