Trans_9 -Canon wise he's from end of Season 5, Ep8 Changing Channels, but he's got information from end of Season 5 via Castiel there and he's struggling to deal. (Also he recently broke his ribs so there's a new little wrinkle and opportunity for a certain Archangel who wants him)
