Festival highlights

Beyond the screen, the festival offers a strong lineup of high-level panel discussions and conversations designed for both industry professionals and curious audiences. Topics range from the evolving role of AI in film, to music rights and collaboration, to emerging formats such as series and vertical storytelling. New this year are community-focused town hall discussions, creating space for open dialogue on key themes such as film distribution, fashion in film, and the creator economy.

The festival experience extends into daily Q&As with filmmakers, networking opportunities, and afterwork gatherings, fostering meaningful exchange between creators, professionals, and audiences. Attendees can also enjoy a curated selection of West African food and drinks available throughout the event.

A special highlight of this year’s edition is NollyKids, a dedicated program for younger audiences featuring carefully selected animated films that support positive development, alongside engaging activities for children and families.

The festival opens with a vibrant Opening Night celebration and concludes with an Awards Ceremony, Closing Night screening, and an Afrobeats afterparty with a live DJ—bringing the community together in a festive and memorable finale.

Paris, the city of lights

NollywoodWeek Film Festival has called Paris home for over a decade. Held annually in the heart of Paris at the Cinéma l'Arlequin, we are just a few steps away from where the Lumière brothers screened the first film in the world to a paying audience.

Nestled between the Latin Quarter, Montparnasse, the Eiffel Tower and the Luxembourg Gardens, our festival participants enjoy the many attraction Paris has to offer between film screenings, panels and festivities.

Join us in Paris where the love of art, new ideas and industry voices converge from around the world which is the essence of NollywoodWeek.

I had a great time at The Nollywoodweek Paris Festival. It was well organized and curated. It was a honor to have my film premiere to a very receptive Francophone audience. I look forward to participating in many more.

Join us from May 6-10th 2026 for another unforgettable edition!
