The global perspective on AI has evolved optimistically, as it increasingly permeates every facet of human life. AI is revolutionizing national security strategies and capabilities worldwide, but its impact on the Global South remains a topic of growing significance and concern. Every nation actively seeks to bolster internal security through AI-driven initiatives, including surveillance, cyber security, and autonomous technologies. This review paper delves into AI's role in analyzing vast datasets, uncovering patterns, and identifying security threats and challenges focusing specifically on the Global South. It considers the potential advantages AI offers in enhancing national security capabilities while addressing concerns surrounding its integration. Drawing from existing literature, it presents a comprehensive analysis of AI's prospective future in the cyber and national security domains within these nations. Ultimately, this paper aims to answer whether AI serves as a facilitator in strengthening internal security or poses unforeseen challenges and raises the importance of capacity-building, technology transfer, and international cooperation. It provides valuable insights into the evolving landscape of AI in the context of national security in the Global South.

This paper tries to put forward an analysis in this regard. The IPC through Section 375 depicts on the aspect of rape. However there is an exception to this provision which says that a person is not responsible for rape if the woman is his wife. This connotation has raised the main concern. Now will the explanation change if the man’s status changes? These aspects are vital to be pondered upon. An attempt has been made to focus on the same with an analytical approach. It is also vital to ponder as to whether achieving the title of ‘husband’ exempt him and his deed from the definition of Rape per se? The situation of marital rape in India bring a very pertinent question as to why it is so that heinous crime like marital rape is hidden behind the curtains in the form of marriage? The emergence of any manifestation of an armed conflict remains to be the anti-thesis to the very idea of individuality autonomy, human rights and others incidental violations. Furthermore, it remains needless to say that sexual violence during armed conflicts remains to be a constant occurrence. To this determination, this research article attempts to study the horrific and blatant violation of human rights of womanhood at large with a specific focus to the terror affected region particularly, ISIS and Boko Haram. The article also analyses the sexual violations perpetrated against women in those region. Simultaneously, the article throws light on other identical aspects of human rights violations like rape, sexual humiliation, sexual mutilation, forced prostitution and forced pregnancy, among others which a women is subjected in those terror affected areas.
