Email Log is a WordPress plugin that allows you to easily log and view all emails that were sent from WordPress.

Dit zou heel nuttig zijn voor het debuggen van e-mail gerelateerde problemen op je WordPress website of voor het opslaan van verzonden e-mails voor audit doeleinden, vooral op e-commerce websites die zijn geconfigureerd met ofwel WooCommerce of Easy Digital Downloads.

You can perform advanced actions like re-sending email, automatically forwarding emails, export logs and automatically monitor email deliverability with the PRO version.

Werkt ook met WordPress multisite.

Bekijken van gelogde e-mails

De gelogde e-mails worden opgeslagen in een aparte tabel en kunnen worden bekeken vanuit de beheerder interface.

Tijdens het bekijken van de logs kunnen de e-mails gefilterd of gesorteerd worden op basis van de datum, e-mail, onderwerp enz.

Verwijderen van gelogde e-mails

In de beheerder interface kunnen alle ingelogde e-mails in bulk worden verwijderd of ook selectief worden verwijderd op basis van datum, e-mail en onderwerp.

Resend email (PRO version)

Resend the email directly from the email log. You can modify the different fields of the email before resending it.

More Fields (PRO version)

Get access to additional fields in the email log page. The following are the additional fields that are added in the pro version.

Forward email (PRO version)

Pro version allows you to send a copy of all the emails send from WordPress to another email address.

You can choose whether you want to forward through to, cc or bcc fields.

Dit kan extreem nuttig zijn wanneer je wilt debuggen door de e-mails te analyseren die vanuit WordPress zijn verzonden.

Export email logs (PRO version)

Export the email logs as a CSV file for further processing or record keeping.

Installatie

Normale WordPress installaties

Extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation and then activate the Plugin from Plugins page.

De inhoud van de e-mail wordt niet gelogd wanneer ik de wpmandrill plugin gebruik

wpmandrill plugin heeft een bug die voorkomt dat deze plugin de inhoud van de e-mail logt.

Ik heb de auteur van de plugin gevraagd om het te fixen en het kan opgelost worden in de volgende release.

Ondertussen heb ik een hack toegevoegd om deze situatie te verwerken in v1.7.3 van mijn plugin. Dus als de inhoud niet wordt gelogd, upgrade dan naar v1.7.3.

Have to get Pro in order to remove additions to db

I’d entertain this if it didn’t require a Pro license in order to remove its data in the db. That’s just bad practice right there and goes against the idea of having a free version to try. Getting punished for trying it out and having the gall to to decide you need something else. What’s that?All this policy does is ensuring users to not try anything from “WebFactory. Bye, bye! Other developers will get my money.

Used to work well – Not anymore

I’ve used this plugin for some years without problem. In the last month or two, updates have broken it. It seems that another group has taken over development. Their website is broken. The plugin has messed some things up on my site. I had to restore from a backup. I was afraid to run updates anymore. Decided to delete it.

Broken please fix.

I use this plugin on all sites I manage. Ver useful when there are questions about if email was sent, when, to whom an with what content. Does what it says, and rarely any issues. Well maintained.
