This event, held annually from 2012 through 2016, was an interactive chat between NIGMS experts and middle and high school students, discussing cells and careers in research. The inaugural event was held as part of NIGMS’ 50th anniversary celebration.
Life: Magnified was an exhibit of 46 scientific images showing cells and other scenes of life magnified by as much as 50,000 times. The exhibit ran from June 3, 2014, to January 21, 2015, at Washington Dulles International Airport's Gateway Gallery.
