See, I was thinking I'd sweep away the cobwebs in here with my hand, but cobwebs are icky even if they're metaphorical and virtual cobwebs. So then I thought maybe I'd use one of those extendable feather duster things to get the corners, but the place is so covered I'd have to hoover everything, even the furniture and stuff, which would take forever. Then I realised perhaps I was actually looking for something that would simply blow away all the dust and such, or perhaps blow it up, but I wasn't sure what that something was. Then I remembered where I was making this post! So, ladies and gentlemen, your suggestions, please! :)

Why does China block Gmail? Seriously. It doesn't block Yahoo or Hotmail and I can't think of what Gmail might have done to deserve such treatment. I can't check my email there and now I don't remember why I wanted to move there after I graduated.

So my summer has recently boiled down to two things that I enjoy: my job and playing RuneScape. Thanks to the help of Christn I now have the full set of Rune armor, unfortunately since I did not complete the Dragon Slayer quest yet I can't wear my Rune plate armor, so it's just kind of sitting there. So I trained for a long time, but yesterday I finally began doing quests. Yes, I'm backwards, I know =D

Like we really need them. Haha, funny how I was nothing but a newbie at the previous incarnation of NF, and now I seem to be in charge **hands on hips**
Anyway.
The main thing about NF is that there are no real rules. We all get along and everyone's happy, right?
But now we're on LJ and a few things are different. So for organizational purposes, I'll write everything down here.
Each new entry will act as a new topic. We don't have specific forums, but I think we'll manage. Especially considering how much we always seemed to talk on the same few threads before.
In order to make an entry to the NF Community, go to your own journal, and click "update". If you're a member of the community, at the bottom of the update page, you should see a thing saying "Post to:" and a dropdown menu. Your Journal name should be in it, scroll down and select "nfcommunity" and then post the entry.
Here's the big thing. We want this to function as much like a normal forum as possible. Each new entry will act as a new thread. To reply to it, simply comment on the entry.
However because of the way LJ's comment system is set up, I must insist on one thing.
When commenting on an entry, always click "Post a new comment", never click "Reply to this" under someone else's comment.
If you reply directly to a pre-existing comment, the comments will start going all out of order, and it'll be very disorganized, and Chass' head will explode. Ok?
So let's all follow that rule.
If you add the community to your friends list, new entries added to it will show up there as they are made. To check for new comments, you'll have to go individually to the entries themselves and check.
I've added the community to my favourites, so I can go directly to the front page instead of fumbling through LJ to get to it.
Because new comments on old entries doesn't cause them to get bumped back up to the top like on a forum, if you revive an old topic, you can mention it on one of the newer live ones so that people know.
Moderators, to add and delete members, edit the info, etc., go to Manage > Communities on the LJ main menu.
Also:
Only members may post, but anyone can comment.
Moderators can delete entries and comments, however, moderators can not edit entries or comments.
All members can edit and delete their own entries and delete their own comments.
People can be blocked from commenting.
Anything else I need to add? Let me know.
Also, in a perfect world I would be able to backdate this entry so it always stays at the top, alas, that doesn't work in communities. But, I'm gonna link it in the little bar at the side, and on the info page as the rules thread. And that way people can always find it.
