It has been a problem and several studies have been conducted to know the reasons for dropping out to craft solutions appropriate and contextualized to different types of learning institutions. This study seeks to determine the dropout rates of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology students in a state university in Nueva Ecija, Philippines during the Academic Year 2020-2021. The study was conducted in time of the coronavirus 2019 pandemic to understand the reasons of the IT students for dropping out. Descriptive research design was used in this study and statistical treatment such as frequency and percentage distributions were used to quantitatively describe the data. Results revealed that there is a 10.79% decrease in enrollment from the first semester during the second semester of Academic Year 2020-2021, majority of the students who have not enrolled are from the first year level, and the three major reasons why student-respondents decided to stop schooling are (1) availability of resources, (2) financial difficulties, and (3) conflicts with their work schedules. Researchers suggest that to lessen the number of student dropouts, instructors are encouraged to motivate their students, especially those in the first year level to continue their studies and strive to excel in their chosen program. Also, the guidance and counseling office of the college may craft programs and activities to boost the interest of the students to study hard amidst the challenges they encounter. Lastly, the students may be informed and introduced to different financial assistance such as scholarships available in the university.

In Nueva Ecija, questionnaires were delivered to senior high school students, and interviews were performed with corporate companies. The data was analyzed using the SWOT Analysis approach to establish the course's competitiveness and cost. According to the survey findings, many graduating senior high school respondents consider BSEMC as a college course. Some of the reasons mentioned by respondents are free tuition, proximity to their home, the University's outstanding reputation, demand for the degree, and a high percentage of employability soon after graduation. A questionnaire and interviews were used as the primary instruments in this study, including selected high schools in Nueva Ecija and several commercial entities. It also used SWOT analysis to determine the course's competitiveness and attractiveness. The amount of senior high school students who replied favorably to the questionnaire reveals that student-respondents are interested in enrolling in the BS in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing program. Demand for the course, the low cost of education, employment after graduation, and the University's strong reputation are all factors. The University's strength is based on its vision, purpose, goals, objectives, and CHED standards such as faculty qualifications and available facilities. Limited educational offerings and reliance on government scholarships are two internal flaws. This contributes to the industry's human resources shortage even more. As a result, offering entertainment and multimedia computing is necessary.

Assessing the efficiency of health center treating TB is a vital and sensitive topic, because there is a cumulative amount of public funds devoted to healthcare. In this research, a DEA model has been correlated to evaluate and assess the efficiency of 17 health centers. The researchers selected the health budget and the number of health workers as input variables likewise, the number of people served, number of TB patients served, and TB patients treated (%) as output variables. Based on the result of the study, only five (5) health centers out of seventeen (17) have 100% efficiencies throughout the 2 years period. It is recommended that other health centers should learn from their efficient peers recognized by the DEA model so as to increase the overall performance of the healthcare system. Likewise, health centers should integrate Health Information Technology to deliver healthier care for their patients.
