I am just back from the 15th General Online Research Conference in Mannheim. This has been a very enthralling moment. Here is a little feedback of my experience at this conference and a brief summary of the presentations I liked there. I have mostly followed the ‘social media’ track where we have heard many insightful and high scientific quality presentations concerning social implications of social networking website, political usages of micro-blogging, the ethical questions raised by online research, the relationships between political blogs and the media,… I do not think that the conference organizers have planned to publish some kind of Conference Proceedings. However, it seems that they upload every year the power point presentations on their website ( should be somewhere here ) so don’t hesitate to take a look!
