Help for the Philippines  
Hello all!

The wonderful fandomaid are holding a buy it now thread to raise money for the relief effort in the Philippines.

My thread is under here, and I'm offering up to 5 poems, original or fannish.  I will take prompts in pretty much any form, as specific or vague as you like, and am very happy to work with you to get a better idea of what you want.

Life and Mix: Ray of Sunshine  
Well hello there :)

This here is a celebration of the wonder that is Ms. ashling_lily, aka my little ray of sunshine *beams*

Some of you may know (*ahem*, I was NOT whinging about it, that was your collective imagination) that ash has been without her internet forEVER, and it has now returned, which is cause for great joy.  Alternatively, normal service has been resumed, and I am being mocked hideously on a daily basis, but I digress :)  Here is a song to express my feelings :D



It was also ash's birthday this week, and I made her a present!  She has this epic fic called Dance of the Nightmare, for which I acted as beta.  You should all go read it.  Basically, it's a horror story, kind of psychological, definitely fantasy.  She has ideas that dart in and out of the prose like little silver fish.  I'm not explaining it very well, but, you know, read it :D

I thought, given that my art teacher at school used to have to ask me what my drawings were supposed to be of, I would do something I *can* do, and make a soundtrack, so here it is!  Ash, dearest, I hope you like it.( Songs of the DreadCollapse )

How did this happen? : I told xari that the Sparkle Lounge needed more Ryan and Brendon.  She told me to go write it.  So I did.
Summary: Ryan is the failiest stripper ever, Tyson and Chris get entirely the wrong idea, and Brendon doesn't know how to shut up.  (Alternatively, according to xari: Tyson, Ryan and Brendon you all fail.  Chris you win at life.)

Icons: stock, women who love women  
Hello loves :)

It's about that time again, when I have my well polished why are there no decent female characters in fandom, and even if there are why does nobody write them rant.  This time, I decided I'd shake things up, and not have the rant, because heaven knows you've all heard it before!  This time, I decided to stalk sexisnottheenemy and sapphoria on tumblr, and make a batch of women who love women icons.  So, without further ado, here they are: all forty nine of them.  Due warning, there are a few nipples in here, so if anyone has a particularly censorious workplace they might be deemed unsafe for work.
