
H. Srikanth
Prof. H. Srikanth has been teaching in the department of Political Science, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong since 2002. He has done his MA, M.Phil and Ph.D. from University of Hyderabad. Earlier he worked in Mahatma Gandhi University (Kottayam), Regional Center for Urban and Environmental Studies (Hyderabad) and Assam University (Silchar). In recent years he has been teaching Marxist Political Theory, Politics of Social Movements in India and Research Writing. His areas of research interest include Indigenous Studies, Ethnic Conflicts, Peace Studies, Political Economy of Northeast India. Prof. H. Srikanth was awarded Canadian Studies Faculty Fellowship in 2005 and Associateship at Indian Institute of Advanced Studies, Shimla in 2008. He has three books and several articles in journals and edited anthologies.
