If your theme supports the thumbnail feature introduced in WordPress 2.9, this plugin will display attached thumbnails on the admin area’s manage posts and manage pages screen, similar to the media management page.

Extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the
wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation
and then activate the Plugin from Plugins page. See if you
like, what it does. There is no options page.

I love this plugin, which enables me to see admin thumbnails when I am looking at my list of posts or pages on the backend.
At a glance, I can ensure all of my posts have featured images. It also helps me locate the post I need faster, and it makes the page that much more helpful and organized.
Thank you for making this!
Perhaps this can make it into the core at some point.
