FFVII fic: "Payback has dyed hair"
I'm fumbling with my old and posted fics again, so have a ficlet.
Written ages ago in German for
sphinxofthenile, but I kind of never got around to translate it (at least I couldn't find any existing version, tell me if I'm wrong).

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!”
The scream destroyed the silence of early morning, echoing from the walls of the yet empty house. Only seconds later an answering scream came up, a little further down the hallway, but as loud as the first one.
„AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!“
Doors were torn open in haste and two figures burst forth, panicked, to escape the horror of the rooms they had just left. Both men paused, staring at each other with an expression of pure panic that quickly turned into boiling anger and a deep desire for revenge.
"Cloud was bored again, uh?" Reno asked icily.
"I'll kill him," Sephiroth announced, grinding his teeth angrily whilst he stared at Reno and his snow white ponytail.
"No need to," Reno brought forth, gaze directed at Sephiroth's firy mane. "Who else but Cloud would dare to steal and hide Vincent's coat?"
A sparkle of evil appeared in Sephiroth's eyes. The two grinned at each other conspiratiorally before sneaking off together towards Vincent's chambers.
