Godzilla: S.P

When Yun Arikawa and his partner, Haberu Katou, investigate a house rumored to be haunted, the last thing they expect is to stumble into a mystery that will soon envelop the entire planet. While measuring strange radio signals, they receive a call from Mei Kamino, a graduate student investigating the same signal and using the equipment their company previously installed.

After an odd night, Yun returns to work at Ootaki Factory, a tech company that actually exists to produce Jet Jaguar—a robot that conspiracy theorist Gorou Ootaki has dreamed of creating. However, when flying dinosaur-like creatures known as Rodan are attracted to the strange radio signals, Jet Jaguar seems to be the only force capable of fighting them. As Yun and Mei investigate the Rodans' sudden appearance, more dangerous monsters begin to surface from the ocean—along with enigmatic red dust.

Godzilla Singular Point is undoubtedly one of the most captivating science fiction anime I’ve ever watched. It masterfully blends intricate scientific concepts with the thrilling Godzilla lore, creating an experience that feels both intellectually stimulating and visually stunning.

Watching Singular Point is like stepping into the shoes of a science student: it invites you to calculate and ponder over the mathematical, physical, chemical, logical, and biological layers embedded in its narrative. Each episode challenges you to engage with the story on a deeper level, making you feel as though you’re not just a viewer, but an active participant in the scientific exploration alongside the characters.

At the ... same time, the anime doesn’t shy away from the awe-inspiring monster action that Godzilla fans adore. The kaiju encounters are intense, thrilling, and beautifully animated, adding a dynamic layer to the complex scientific narrative. It’s the perfect blend of brain-teasing theory and thrilling monster spectacle.

Mixed Feelings

Very interesting story, this is not a generic anime or kaiju series, combining aspects such as computing, theoretical physics, philosophy and much more.

The art style so good But maybe the main character's build is a bit similar to gin

I like the character somehow
But it's a bit of a shame that Godzilla gets such minimal airtime,I like the way Arikawa Yun, our main character, thinks, for many people it is confusing.

So for the character again
Not that realistic But, thats it

... I recommend this anime, only when you are ready.
The complexity of this story is very confusing for most people, it is not easy to understand, maybe you need to watch it more than 13 times.

I hope whoever solves this anime gets the Nobel prize.

(writing this drunk an the only reason its rated 5 is cause i have a godzilla bias) Unless you are a massive godzilla fan do not watch this and instead watch many of the live action films.
I am the biggest Godzilla fan I know and been wanting to write a review for this series but at the time I could not put my feelings into words.
The story is fucking boring as fuck they hit you with so much made up sience terms and philosophy instead of BIG MONSTERS FIGHTING EACHOTHER. I mean what were they thinking when they made this show do they not even ... know why Godzilla got popular in the first place we wanna see Godzilla beat the shit out of other monsters and destroy cities and armies, instead we get the most boring characters spouting off made up bullshit for 95% of the show, Godzilla himself does not even make a full appearence until episode 10 is stupid and even after he shows up he doesn't do anything and we get a lackluster fight at the end between Godzilla and Jet Jaguar.
The show could have been better if Godzilla showed up way sooner and fought more monsters from the classic films and remove ALL of the made up science boring talk that honestly reminds me of boring shows like fate/stay night and gundam unicorn.

these films are better at telling a good story thats easy to follow while giving you good monster fights. You can also watch the showa timeline or millenium films to because they are also good and the monsterverse is also good. TLDR SHOW IS BORING AND THERE ARE NO FIGHTS.
