MuseScore is an open-source music notation software application. It lets you write music for Piano, Guitar, Orchestra, Jazz, Choir, Band, Marching, etc. Music notes can be added to this program quite easily through a MIDI keyboard. You can also transfer data to and from other programs via MusicXML, MIDI, and other formats.
